Talk and Exhibition at Rice University: Transforming Tire Waste

At Rice University, I had the opportunity to present Transforming Tire Waste: Histories, Processes, and Innovative Forms, an exploration of my artistic practice, which transforms discarded inner tubes into meaningful sculptures. As part of the "Energy, Waste, and the Environment in West Africa" conference, I shared insights into the environmental impact of waste, my creative process, and how my work addresses climate change through repurposing tire waste. The exhibition featured pieces that illustrate the potential of discarded materials to tell powerful stories of rebirth and identity. Watch the full talk here.
