Open response to Mr Atheist

After posting my article titled “scientific proof of God”, I got a comment from a man I will simply like to call Mr Atheist. This new post you are about to read is my response to his comment below.

OMG! do you realize how condescending you are being? I’m sorry, but you need to stop watching crappy Christian movies like “god is dead”!
atheists don’t believe in God because there’s no evidence for God. they ask you for evidence because folks like you assert there is one, and you do so due literally no good reason at all. not only, but from the idea of god, you force all sorts of crap down everyone’s throat; which is generally telling them who they ought to hate!
there is and can be no evidence for God.
no logical argument for God proves the are Gods since logic only proves tautology and nothing at all about reality. therefore, the idea of god is only because one has an impression of volition in reality. that’s it.
the atheist simply doesn’t have the same impression as you.
as a Christian, I’m most often saddened by the fact most Christians are not only uneducated, but completely ignorant of the fact they’re often pricks, totally, blissfully unaware of it.
here, case in point.

My response

Hello Mr Atheist,

By everything you have said, I feel it saddens you more that you lack a deeper understanding of who God is, as you’re unable to logically prove He exists. You’re also clearly still trapped in that age-old debate to prove whether or not God exists by using a standard you hope to rationalise. A standard that clearly doesn’t work. It takes only faith to know God.

Albert Einstein, a great scientist, once described insanity as doing the same thing over and over again but expecting different results. Which is exactly what you and many others have been doing for years; you’ve been trying and hopelessly failing to prove God exists by the use of logic. Yet you don’t seem to realise it. You’ve been doing so for centuries whiles countless people around the world are experiencing the joys of knowing Him through faith. One of the joys being peace of spirit and a couple of the testimonies I shared in the blog post you read.

Let me ask you a question, if you truly are a Christian, we wouldn’t be having this conversation as your mind would have clearly understood the fact that Christianity begins with an encounter with God. It’s not a title or something conferred on an individual because they attended mass with their parents whiles growing up. We’re not Christians because we read the Bible or attend a church. We are Christians because first and foremost we have experienced God. Paul clearly states all of this in Ephesians 2.

And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins; Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus: That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:1-10).

Knowledge has vastly increased and to still talk about wanting a logical proof of God after years of failed attempts is irrational: you need to clearly realise logic isn’t the way. Stop trying to place God in the logic trap or sense realm (Hebrew 11:6); in places where you feel you can have more control over the conversation.

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him (Hebrews 11:6).

This is why Jesus said it’s only those who humble themselves as little children that can enter the Kingdom (See Matthew 18:3). You need to let go of what you think you know and embrace the subject of faith that has ushered many into a deeper understanding of the spiritual realm and God.

Oh, by the way, I hardly watch movies lol.

Thanks again for commenting, I truly appreciate it.

    1. :)…Trust me I do face criticism openly and honestly. If I did not, I would have deleted your first comment. But I didn’t…:) Thanks again for commenting. I appreciate it sir.

      1. well, no, if you did then you wouldn’t call me an atheist simply because i said you’re smug and condescending, and presumptuous in saying atheists simply hate god.

notice you outright admit there’s no logical path to god. notice you outright admit there is no evidence for god. you said one can only experience god.

had you actually listened to what i said, you would have realized those were my exact comments!

the conclusion however, is that because experience is there basis and that not everyone has the same experiences or interprets them the same way, you can’t just right of atheists or atheism as you have.

now, if you do appreciate what I’m saying, it’s will only be because you actually cared to take the time to read and understand what it is i have said.

      2. I actually never stated or implied that atheists hate God. There is nothing of that sort in my writing. My previous post was a response to a friend who asked me for my proof of God. What I simply shared was my testimony. I never said there was no evidence of God, I just said many are trying to prove God exists by using a system or set of principals that according to the bible, aren’t the way to know God.

I never wrote off atheists. All I did was to share a story and how I got to meet God.

Now let me switch this over to you. Have you ever experienced God? If yes, can you kindly share with me your story.

  1. whatever the trite trope was … actually, there were two immediately apparent. the first about “craving”, and this a little later on:

“no matter how much a person disapproves God, a part of him/her deeply and secretly desires to have someone prove to him/her that He exists.”

and you’re entirely unclear in what you mean by faith.

no, i have zero desire to talk personally here or anywhere else with complete strangers. I’m simply saying yet again, that you are completely ignorant of the fact that you do write folks off through simply assuming everyone knows there’s a god and some simply “disapprove” (or “hate”, as in the “god’s not dead” genre) of god, “secretly desiring” to have god proved.

you don’t know that! you have to own your words. i hope you everyone do.

      1. You seem like a bitter and angry person. I don’t know what you have experienced in your past that has made you this way. And I understand if you don’t want to open up. But everything shows it.

You really do think I am condescending just because I shared my story? How does sharing a personal story make me condescending.

You probably just have it in mind, because of a few experiences plus a movie that I can tell offended you in a way for whatever reason, that some Christians are condescending.

      2. LOL. so you’ve moved on to remote psychiatry?

i showed you some condescending remarks. i never commented on your “story”. focus in on the single, simple fact that those remarks are condescending and quit pawning the responsibility of by other scapegoats.
