1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one
That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
The Godhead can be likened to water. God the Father, Son (the Word) and Holy Ghost are one; just as water in the liquid, solid and gaseous form are all the same substance —H2O. They all play different roles but all in all, it is the same God. This is why we are told in Philippians 2:6 that, Jesus was a form of God, just like steam is a form of water. In the same way, God wants us to be one body (the body of Christ:the church) in one Spirit. He has given each and every one of us, different roles with different gifts through the gift of His Holy Spirit—all are given for the edification of other members of the church.
The church not churches is the bride Jesus is coming for. Individuals come together to form the church (where two or three are gathered—Matthew 18:20). During the rapture humanbeings will be glorified and not building or movements. His church, one people with one Spirit.
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Ephesians 4:4-6 )
In John 15:1-2, Jesus said: \”I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.\”
In John 15:6, He again says: \”If a man [not building, temple, synagogue] abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them [talking about angels—Matthew 13:39], and cast them into the fire [the lake of everlasting fire], and they are burned [Matthew 13:40-42]\”. Jesus is the true vine (the head of the church), and we His people throughout the world saved by grace through faith in His name are the branches (the body of Christ). He is coming for us, those who are one with Him in Spirit. He isn\’t coming for a movement or a domination, He is coming for a chosen people; people who abide in Him and do His will, People who are like-minded in Christ.
Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. (Philippians 2:2)
